Today, I want to challenge you to do one thing. One thing that you can do to make yourself feel better throughout the day. One thing that will make you look into the mirror and say “hey – I’m getting better.” One thing that will spike your endorphins, or boost your energy. Here’s a few I am picking out of my toolkit which I will try to achieve today:
- Take a lunch break to go for a jog.
- Use the stairs at your office building
- Abstain from coke or sugary drinks
- Drink extra water
- Break up a big lunch into 2 smaller meals
The truth is, we can all make time during the work day to achieve these small, simple things. So what if its not going to get you rock hard abs? Doing the small things will help you on your journey, to give you 5 minutes of increased heart rate, or simply to avoid your afternoon crash (sugar is a quick fix – but not the answer!)
Try them. Let me know how you did. Or just journal yourself. If you can do it today- you can do it for the rest of the week. This is how habits are built.
